The Antani are largely a hidden species. They quietly infest the ruins of cities that have slipped out of ken, and have little doings with other races.

It is said from the one legend of their nest that their queen lairs within a chamber built of solid orichalc. This is of course, only hearsay, because it is hard to imagine any who can come and go at will from the underground, and what are surely closely guarded entrances and exits.

The Antani have no doubt gleaned many lost secrets from the reclamation of abandoned temples and treasuries. Being content to dwell entirely underground, Antani inhabit many abandoned complexes and catacombs.

Antani are great foes of Giant Spiders, for the spiders prey upon their people heavily, and are their most deadly foes.
