A blue-and-orange-furred predator closely related to the cat family, the unnatural fur of the Giant Blue Tiger commands a high price in the markets of Yazra. A good price for their coats can also be had in the fur markets of Zor, Na Zhiraz, and the Dwarvan Kingdom.

Female blue tigers produce unusually strong pheremonal odors in their urine. If you get the scent upon yourself accidently (by brushing up against "marked" undergrowth, for example), males will come from miles round and hunt you out. This can be markedly inconvenient, particularly when the animal realizes that you are not a female tiger in heat, and that it is hungry from chasing you.

The giant blue tiger will preferably attack lone or sleeping prey. Only if it is surprised or enraged will it attack large parties.
