Pink ooze that bubbles and moves quite quickly, for all that it appears to be a gelid pool. This amoeboid life form slurks and links under the earth, away from the confusing, hurtful rays of natural light.

Although it may seem innocuous enough, Bubbling Ooze can boil away flesh on contact, leaving muscle and skeleton exposed. Its acids have no effect on metal, however, but chopping at Bubbling Ooze with a sword does little damage. Only blunt or majikal weapons can have much impact on the gelid pink slime. Fire spells are also markedly effective, and even a readily thrown torch or two can have more impact than a dagger or blade.
