Ceiling phlegm is so named for it most resembled a gigantic hocked-up wad of chest goo. It lurks unseen in large cracks in ceilings and cave roofs, and waits patiently for prey to pass underneath it. At this point it drops and attacks with its acidic, slimy, sticky goo, seeking to smother the victim. If it succeeds, it will partially dissolve the victim while it feeds before beginning the long crawl back up to the roof.
