Even among animals there are kings, and the Dark Flyer is the king of all bats. While a Giant Bat is a nuisance, the Dark Flyer is a feared predator, which gives away little of its presence until it swoops out of the dark and carries off its unsuspecting prey.

Encountered only at night or deep underground, the Dark Flyer is only found in wild areas near rocky hills where caves abound, which offer it shelter from the sunlight while it sleeps.
