Successful predators of the ruby sands of the Garnet Desert, Desert Claws are found hunting alone or in packs. They attack with a vicious set of slashing kicks, designed to disembowel opponents with the enlarged claws on their hind legs.

These curved, dagger-sized hind claws are prized by the peoples who inhabit regions hunted by Desert Claws, using the enormous toe-claws of the lizard to make weapons.

Desert Claws use their large yellow eyes and disturbingly intelligent stare to transfix prey, and are especially dangerous when hunting in multiples, as one will draw the attention of their victim while the others move in from the side to disembowel it.
