The Elemental of Water can only be summoned to the True World from its native plane in the presence of a large body of still or standing water. Water Elementals cannot usually be summoned in arid regions, such as the
Dyikon or Garnet deserts.
A Water Elemental is a powerful creature, and the larger they are, the more damage they can do. Water Elementals attack by surrounding their opponent and attempting to drown them.
Because they are creatures of fluid and majik, only majik weapons, fire and spells can affect them.
Elementals are summoned creatures, brought into being by majik, and as such, their parameters depend a great deal on the skill of their caster. Hit dice are one-quarter of the level of the summoner, so a Vizier of eighth level would summon an Elemental of from 2-16 hit points.
