Giant Frogs dwell in marshes, along reed-choked lakeshores, and other swampy places. Their attack is surprisingly powerful for such apparently harmless creatures, and large groups can be quite dangerous if encountered, especially at night. Rural communities will often form pitchfork parties and patrol nearby ponds and fens if the Frog population threatens to get out of hand after a particularly rainy and warm summer.
At night, the call of the creatures in areas infested with them can be overwhelming. Several good men have been reported driven mad, running off screaming to be attacked and overwhelmed by rampaging frogs.
